Musicians love these speakers. Why? Because they spend their lives performing, and they know what live music sounds like. And when they hear it reproduced on an audio system, they get excited.
The challenge for most HD antenna manufacturers will be improving antenna performance while making them smaller and less obtrusive. The industry has long assumed that the technology behind antennas had peaked. We're now discovering that isn't so.
NIDs (Network Interface Devices) are usually on the outside of the house mounted near the electrical service entrance. A typical structured cabling installation needs TP cables (2 CAT5s) to the telco or cable box and 1 or 2 coax cables (2 RG6s) to the cable box from the distribution center in the home. So someplace the cable has to pass to the outside of the house.
Why jacks? Why not just "hardwire" everything? Because today's homeowners live in a dynamic world. New things replace old, new lifestyles mean rooms change their function and jacks let you plug things in and out, as you wish.
"To cut through the clutter in today's overcommunicated society, place your marketing dollars on your best horse. Then let that product or service serve as a halo effect for the rest of the line."
With the truly robust 200-Mbps HomePlug AV standard-based PLC technology, home networks are established instantly with plug-and-play simplicity. It is the reason why service providers worldwide are having this proven technology embedded into their gateways, PVRs and set-top boxes.
We anticipate significant opportunities for hardware and software companies helping service providers, home network and home computer vendors, and CE vendors to develop more proactive customer help solutions.
When people first hear Chord amps they are surprised at the liquidity of the sound, the musical fidelity, and the amount of detail they hear. It's like the best of tube amps coupled with the best of solid state.

"Conscience. What a thing. If you believe you got a conscience it'll pester you to death. But if you don't believe you got one, what could it do t'ya? Makes me sick, all this talking and fussing about nonsense." -- Dobbs (Humphrey Bogart) - The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948)
"The natives over there are cannibals. They eat liars with the same enthusiasm as they eat honest men." - Captain Nemo (James Mason) - 20000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954)
"Jules, did you ever hear the philosophy that once a man admits he's wrong, then he's automatically forgiven of that wrongdoing?" - Vincent (John Travolta), Pulp Fiction, 1994

It's already daylight saving time where I live. Did your PVR / Media Server / Home Automation Controller know about the change? A minor headache if not ... but a headache none the less. The more spoiled we become ... the more spoiled we want to become and the more dependent we get on technology. I'll leave it to philosophers to decide whether that is a good thing or not.
Now it's time to head to the fridge for a cold one, kick off those shoes, and see how many decibels you can make from the MI3 sound track before the neighbors come over for an intervention.
