6.7" x 6.7" media centers

Mini-itx (6.7” x 6.7”) motherboards have been around for a while now but for the most part they have been rendered useless for media centers because of low performing on board graphics cards. This summer that changed when Intel introduced a mini-itx motherboard with a on board graphics card capable of 1080p high-definition video playback with hardware decoding. AVS forums has an ongoing discussion with people using this board to build media centers small than a loaf of bread. AVS forum thread.
