Wipro Technologies releases 802.11 Station and Access Point solution To demonstrate its dual mode 802.11 MAC at Networld + Interop Event, Atlanta

September 05, 2002 Wipro Technologies, the global IT Services division of Wipro Limited and a leading Wireless IP and design services provider, will demonstrate its dual mode 802.11 MAC at the Networld+Interop Event being held at Atlanta, USA. Wipro will demonstrate its highly optimized 802.11 MAC and Access Point solutions in the Wireless pavilion at the event.

Access Points act as interface between the wireless and wired networks as it is connected to the Ethernet backbone on one side and it ‘talks’ to the station on the other side. Wipro’s 802.11 MAC solutions can easily be integrated by chip vendors to make Station and Access Point solutions, as well as by device makers who intend to add Wireless LAN capabilities to broadband devices, residential gateways and consumer electronic devices.

The Networld + Interop Atlanta 2002 event brings groundbreaking technologies and solutions in the field of Networking.
