PEERLESS UNVEILS THE VECTOR PROT,
A NEW AND INNOVATIVE LCD PROJECTOR MOUNT

Peerless Industries, Inc. (Melrose Park, IL) introduces the new Vector ProT LCD Projector Mount. As a long-time leader in the design and manufacture of LCD projector mounts, Peerless used their engineering expertise to design a totally new concept of LCD projector mounts. This unique mount not only features innovative mechanical design for maximum efficiency, and aesthetics to complement projectors, but it also provides complete, integrated security for the equipment from the projector to the ceiling.

The Vector Pro features a ball and socket design that provides free range of motion for positioning the LCD projector and for proper lens alignment. Peerless emphasizes that all adjustments on this mount were designed for ease of installation and security of the equipment, with the installer and users in mind. Few parts and fasteners combined with pre-assembly of the mount simplify installation. 360° yaw and all-around pitch and roll adjustment of 15° in every direction mean infinite adjustments of the projection angle.

Adjustments to the projector angle and removal of the projector for maintenance are streamlined with self-locating attachment points between the mount and the adapter plate. While this process, with many currently available mounts, often requires a "balancing act" and potential fumbling to place screws, the Vector Pro glides into place with a twist. Adjustments are set with one security screw, locking the projector in place for stability and protection of the equipment.

Peerless' Vector Pro can be used in combination with a dedicated projector plate (made specifically for the projector), or with a universal adjustable clamp-style bracket. The Vector Pro is compatible with Peerless' standard extension columns and ceiling plates. Other mounting accessories are offered to address various construction/mounting situations. The Vector Pro will be available August 1, 2001.
