LiteTouch Introduces Three New Products at CEDIA Expo 2001

LiteTouch, an industry leader in lighting control innovations for over 20 years, will introduce three new products at CEDIA Expo 2001: (1) the LiteTouch Fan Speed Control Module, (2) the XStream PKG Wireless Modem and (3) the MX-1000 LCD TouchScreen Remote.

"LiteTouch is always striving to develop new products and improve our existing ones," said Jesse Wood, Integrations Manager for LiteTouch, Inc. "These three new products are good examples of how we can use today's cutting-edge technology to create innovative products that are easy to use and give consumers the control they want."

The LiteTouch Fan Speed Control Module uses circuit tuning and capacitive circuitry to place fan speed control into the ease and aesthetics of a LiteTouch button. Rather than using a separate fan speed controller, a LiteTouch button can now be programmed to run ceiling fans at three different speeds - high, medium, or low. This eliminates the need for other wall switches, reduces wall clutter and keeps control within the LiteTouch faceplate.

LiteTouch is also unveiling the XStream PKG Wireless Modem, a tool for LiteTouch system programmers. Instead of having to upload and download changes to the CCU from a far-off equipment room, the Modem allows installers to program a home as they move from room to room. This not only saves hours of time on each job, it also increases programming accuracy and homeowner satisfaction.

The MX-1000 LCD TouchScreen Remote controls LiteTouch IR Stations and up to 11 other home electronic devices. Its ergonomic design and bright backlit display make it as easy to use as it is to program. The remote has a number of other outstanding features including a PC upload/download function, macro buttons, favorite channel buttons and a powerful memory back-up.
