CRESTRON FEATURING AUDIO SIX-PACK AT CEDIA 2001

A complete six-zone home audio solution, the Crestron Audio Six-Pack is easy to specify, easy to integrate and easy to afford.

The Crestron Audio Six-Pack is a total package of 14 high-performance components plus programming software, all specially designed to work together. This plug-and-play solution requires only minimal configuration and quick setup, yet is ideal for a wide variety of applications from home theaters to whole-house audio. The Audio Six-Pack can also serve as the initial phase of a basic system that can accommodate future upgrades that can be as advanced as the customer desires. When enhanced with additional Crestron components and accessories, the Audio Six-Pack package becomes the foundation for a truly sophisticated home control and automation system.

The Audio Six-Pack is just as easy to afford as it is to install and the special bundled pricing is a $700 savings off the cost of the components purchased separately. The FREE Audio Six-Pack software also saves valuable time by reducing programming time by up to 12 hours. The new CNAMPX-12x60 amplifier provides 12 channels of power with ratings of 60 Watts per channel (WPC) at 8 ohms, 90 WPC into 4 ohms and 220 WPC bridged at 8 ohms. Like Crestron's CNAMPX-16x60 amplifier, the CNAMPX-12x60 is an intelligent amplifier that can report things like temperature status back to the control system.

In addition to the software, the complete list of Audio Six-Pack hardware includes: * The CNAMPX-12x60 12-channel amplifier delivers 60 Watts of power per channel, offers remote power on/off, and features built-in intelligence to report temperature status via the control network.

* The CNX-PAD8 professional audio distribution processor lets you switch audio sources, preamplify their signals and distribute them to the amplifier.

* The CNMSX-AV high-performance integrated control processor features an optional expansion card cage to upgrade for future technologies and devices.

* The CNHBLOCK network distribution block provides wiring for up to 15 controlled devices and/or peripherals.

* The four CNXIRP infrared emitter probes attach to the controlled devices to deliver IR signals from the control processor.

* The six CN-WP12FW wall-mounted white keypads (one for each room or zone) feature six source buttons, an on/off button, a mute button, volume controls and basic device control buttons.

CRESTRON INTRODUCES NEW WALL-MOUNTED KEYPADS AT CEDIA 2001

New room lighting or audio interfaces provide simple control that blend elegantly into any décor.

INDIANAPOLIS, CEDIA 2001 (Booth #123) - Crestron has chosen CEDIA 2001 to introduce a new range of wall-mounted keypads, adding to the complete Crestron Home lineup of products and solutions.

Crestron Home wall-mounted keypads are an excellent choice for controlling room lighting or audio. Available with up to twelve buttons, the CNX-B2, B4, B6, B8 and B12 can be used singly or in groups, and are ideal for on/off functions, dimming or even complex control sequences.

The large, backlit engraveable buttons are easy to read from any angle, and backlighting makes them a snap to locate, even in the dark. These sculpted, elegant keypads can also be customized with a variety of inlays and finishes. The new Crestron Home keypads also feature a temperature sensor, designer finishes and a speaker. These single-gang keypads also store and play WAV sound files.
