Industry leader releases yet another unique product

Sunnyvale, CA, October 19, 2001- Pragmatic Communications Systems, Inc., the leaders in audio/video control and signal distribution, have added yet another innovative product to their series of wireless video cameras. Their brand new product, DomeCamT, is a high resolution black and white camera, with a built-in twisted pair video transmitter. The video and power is supplied through Category 5 wire. Pragmatic is shipping the product now.

Pragmatic's DomeCamT is 3.5" in diameter, and 3.5" high. This high performance 1/3" CCD camera, available in 50 or 60 Hz models, has a horizontal resolution of more than 380 TVL. It has an excellent sensitivity of less than 0.1 lux. DomeCamÔ runs on a standard 12V DC supply. It is ruggedly designed and manufactured, enabling the camera to operate in temperatures ranging from -25 degrees Celsius to + 55 degrees Celsius- certainly more demanding than most any use imagined. This makes the DomeCamT well suited for many applications including covert surveillance. The camera also provides mirror mode options and back light compensation, selectable on the board. The camera offers its users great versatility in focal length, view angles, and relative aperture. DomeCamT also provides users with an option of choosing between integrated lens and CS-Mount lens.
