Residential Integrators School provides training for installing dealers

SAN DIEGO, CA -- -- Home Controls, Inc. announces the dates of the next Residential Integrators School (RIS), specifically designed to help installation companies learn what they need to know to expand into and succeed in the lucrative residential automation and networking industry. The class is three days of concentrated - hands on learning which is kept small so there can be lots of hands on with each product and well as lots of interaction with a top trainer in their field of technical expertise.

Many qualified installation firms, such as security firms, electrical contracting firms, and even start-up companies, are technically knowledgeable but need some training on how to design and sell automation and networking systems into the residential market. The Home Controls Residential Integrator School is providing residential automation and networking education in the form of a three-day, hands-on training course. Students will learn how to sell and design integrated systems, what questions to ask home owners and builders, tips during the rough-in and trim-out phases, and how to program the system and train their customers upon job completion. In addition, there is hands-on, factory training with several important product lines, networking/training time with Home Controls tech support staff, and plenty of time for questions.

The next dates for the school is Jan. 23,24,25 and March 20,21,22 of 2002. The cost for the three-day course is $500 for the first student and $400 for additional students within the same company.
