Yamaha today introduced the versatile and powerful RX-V381 5.1-channel AV receiver that boasts built-in Bluetooth® for wireless music playback and full 4K Ultra HD support, offering the home theater enthusiast a stunning, elevated cinema experience right in their living room.

This price-friendly, entry-level model is the first in the company's RX-V 81 Series AV receiver line, and builds on the legacy of award-winning models that have won widespread acclaim for years. The AV receiver, with full 4K Ultra HD support is HDCP 2.2 compliant (4 in/1 out) and features high dynamic range (HDR) with BT.2020 compatibility. This provides spectacular detail for both dark and bright image content, as well as a wide spectrum of color for 4K picture quality.

Among the many technologies packed into the RX-V381 is 4K Ultra HD video pass-through via HDMI® 2.0 4K/60p 4:4:4 (4 inputs/1 output) for watching content in this super high resolution format. For the enthusiast who has their personal music library on a mobile device, the RX-V381 features Bluetooth® with Compressed Music Enhancer, which enables easy wireless music playback with superb sound quality. The AV receiver also features the Yamaha exclusive YPAO™ automatic calibration system, which uses a microphone to listen and analyze the sound of each speaker, then tunes the sound system to create the best possible listening experience in any type of room.
