Crestron Technology Amazes in Prestigious Design Competition

Chateau on Central Design Challenge Arizona brings exquisite style and cutting edge home automation technology to luxurious Phoenix mansions

ROCKLEIGH, N.J., March 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Crestron is proud to congratulate interior designer Robert Burg of Robert Burg Design for winning the Chateau on Central Design Challenge Arizona. The yearlong competition featured three A-list designers, each given a budget and their own chateau to design from the shell stage to a fully furnished residence complete with world-class Creston home automation. A distinguished panel of judges, including Luis D. Ortiz from the hit show Million Dollar Listing New York, selected the winning design.

The contestants, who also included Beth McGhee of SB Design, and Charles Glover of Charles Glover Interiors, worked closely with local technology integrator Dennis Sage Home Entertainment to design and install powerful Crestron systems perfectly tailored to each space. At the heart of each system is a state-of-the-art Crestron 3-Series Control System®, which provides intuitive control of lights, shades, thermostats, AV, and more from spectacular HD touch screens on every floor.

"The beauty of using Crestron is that the designers never had to compromise their vision because the technology is essentially invisible," said Dennis Sage. "On top of that, Crestron systems can be customized down to the smallest detail. With just a few taps on a touch screen, the designers were able to control everything to set the perfect mood in every space."

"The Chateau on Central Design Challenge Arizona was an exceptional event to collaborate with the luxury interior design and real estate communities, and to showcase how our estate technology is intrinsic in extraordinary living spaces," said Ami Wright, Director of Residential Marketing, Crestron.
