Yale Brings Security and The Smart Home To IBS 2016

Company to demonstrate security solutions for multi-family applications and the connected home.

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Yale Locks & Hardware comes to IBS 2016 with security solutions that meet a wide range of needs and applications, from locksets for single- and multi-family applications to digital home products that can make a smart home truly brilliant.

The company's digital home products set to launch this year include Linus™, the lock that integrates with Nest products, a Bluetooth lock that turns a smartphone into a house key, and a Wi-Fi door viewer that brings the peephole and doorbell and the 21st century.

Among the products that Yale is showing at IBS 2016 are:

Linus, the lock for the Nest home. Linus was developed through the Works with Nest program, works seamlessly with Nest products and is fully integrated with the Nest home. Lock and unlock doors from anywhere, allow different levels of access for others, revoke access at any time — all from the same Nest app that controls other Nest products. Linus was named a finalist in the Best of IBS Awards in the Best Home Technology category, and can be seen at Yale's IBS exhibit and at the Nest Labs IBS booth (S2428).
Yale Real Living™ Assure Lock™ with Bluetooth that replaces conventional keys with digital keys accessed through the Yale Digital Keys app. Unlock doors, send keys to others, control when others have access, get a message when someone enters, and revoke a key at any time.
The Yale Real Living Look Door Viewer™ that brings the lowly doorbell and peephole into the age of the Internet of Things. It allows homeowners to see who's at the door on the built-in LCD or on a smartphone, and from a smartphone allows two-way live video and audio communication with who's at the door.
Z-Wave® key free cylinderless residential deadbolts that offer a sleek design, easy installation and one-button Z-Wave enrollment. Eliminating the keyway simplifies installation since no keying is required.
Interconnected mechanical locksets and access control solutions for multi-family and multi-unit applications. New for 2016 is a line of interconnected mechanical locks that combine key-in-lever locksets with the added safety and security of a deadbolt, allow quick egress, and are designed for easy rekeying. Also on display is Yale nexTouch™, next generation solutions for the multi-family market that offers flexible, scalable lock management tailored specifically to the needs of the market.
Extensive line of mechanical locksets that includes knobsets, leversets and deadbolts in a wide range of styles and finishes to match nearly every need and décor.
