AVAD Nashville Contributes to Local Food Bank During the Holiday Season

Dealers earn vendor discounts through online and in-store donations

Los Angeles, Calif. - November 9, 2015 - AVAD LLC, North America's leading provider of solutions to the residential and commercial custom installation markets, announces their Nashville branch will host a food drive benefiting the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee from November 16th through November 20th, 2015.

AVAD Nashville partners with Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee to raise awareness to fight hunger and help supply food for families in need during the holiday season. Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee is one of the largest and most comprehensive food banks and distribution centers nationwide. Last year, Second Harvest distributed more than 29 million pounds of food and providing more than 24 million meals of food to hungry children, families and seniors throughout the 46-county service area.

From November 16th to November 20th, AVAD dealers have the opportunity to donate non-perishable food items in exchange for discounts from participating vendors during the week of November 16th. To receive the special dealer discount, dealers must donate at least fifteen food items at the Nashville AVAD or $20.00 on the Virtual Food Drive page: http://bit.ly/20rcDTU.

Donated food from AVAD dealers will be given to the Second Harvest Food Bank Office in Nashville on Monday, November 23rd, 2015 - just in time for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. Dealers who donate in person will receive specially marked bags to fill and receive their week-long discount.
