VIZIO Showcases Ultra HD and Audio Collections to Canadian Tech Enthusiasts at TAVES Consumer Electronics Show
80-inch Ultra HD M-Series and Immersive 5.1 Sound Bar On Display At Toronto Audio Video Entertainment Show
Irvine, CA and (TAVES) Toronto, Canada - October 30, 2015 - VIZIO, Inc. today announced its debut at the Toronto Audio Video Entertainment Show (TAVES). Attendees of the show will experience VIZIO picture quality and audio technologies through demonstrations of its E-Series Smart TV and M-Series Ultra HD Smart TV collections along with the company's audio solutions. TAVES serves as an ideal venue for VIZIO to highlight its home theater offerings to Canadian audio/video enthusiasts. VIZIO is located at booth RT24 of the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel.
VIZIO will demonstrate various large-size class models of the 2015 M-Series Ultra HD Full-Array LED Smart TV models and mid-size class E-Series Full-Array LED Smart TV models. Having made their Canadian debut earlier this year, the TV products on display at TAVES will be joined by items from the audio line-up. The VIZIO 5.1 Sound Bar System with wireless subwoofer and rear satellite Speakers, and the convenient, space-saving 2.1 Sound Stand that can fill a room with powerful audio will also be showcased to consumers and media.
TAVES attendees will be able to view firsthand the 55", 65" and popular 80" M-Series Ultra HD class models in the VIZIO booth. The M Series is available in a range of class sizes from 43" to 80" and feature VIZIO's advanced Spatial Scaling Engine™ to upscale 1080p content to 4K Ultra HD resolution1. These models display over 8.3 million pixels in every image and feature four times the resolution of 1080p Full HD for breathtaking detail and clarity. Full-Array LED backlighting offers an even distribution of light for superior uniformity as compared to Edge-Lit TVs, and up to 32 Active LED Zones® deliver precise, controlled backlighting with extremely high contrast and deep black levels. Active Pixel Tuning™ enables pixel-level adjustments of brightness for increased picture accuracy and contrast. For the fast-action lover or sports enthusiast, the M-Series line-up boasts up to Clear Action™ 720 with a blazing 240Hz effective refresh rate achieved with backlight scanning. These technologies, combined with powerful image processing, allow for sharper detail and help to ensure fast-moving scenes appear clearer than ever.

To compliment the stunning picture quality of the VIZIO Smart TVs on display, VIZIO will also demonstrate the 40" 5.1 Sound Bar System, a complete 5.1 system featuring a 3-channel sound bar plus wireless subwoofer and rear satellite speakers. Ideal for 47" or larger class TVs, the flagship system pumps out clear, room-rocking sound and immersive surround that puts you in the middle of the action. The 40" 5.1 Sound Bar System outputs a sound pressure level of 102 dB with less than 1% total harmonic distortion2 and supports a number of inputs, including HDMI. Those looking for a more space-saving solution can experience the 2.1 Sound Stand that will also be on display. Both audio solutions offer built-in Dolby® Digital and DTS surround sound processing providing an enhanced and immersive audio experience.
The 2015 VIZIO E-Series Full-Array LED Smart TV that launched in Canada earlier this spring will also be available to view at TAVES. The collection boasts Full-Array LED backlighting technology, up to 16 Active LED Zones that dynamically adjust the backlighting to match the light and dark portions of on-screen content. Clear Action 240 across most models offers enhanced motion clarity with 120Hz effective refresh rate, achieved with backlight scanning, and powerful image processing so sports and fast-action scenes are seen with stunningly sharp detail.
All models in the 2015 E- and M-Series collections are equipped with VIZIO's latest generation Smart TV platform, VIZIO Internet Apps Plus, to give consumers the power to stream the hottest movies, TV shows, music and more right to the TV. The seamless Smart TV experience is possible thanks to built-in WiFiwith apps such as Netflix, Spotify, YouTube and more3. The M-Series Ultra HD collection adds support for Ultra HD content from Netflix, UltraFlix and Toon Goggles4.
