DAYTON, NJ - Now available in a tablet version, the myLink™ app from Somfy Systems, Inc., the world's largest manufacturer of radio-controlled motors for interior and exterior window coverings, allows you to turn your favorite mobile device into a remote control for Radio Technology Somfy® (RTS) products. The myLink is wireless and allows users to control motorized blinds, drapes, shades, awnings, screens and rolling shutters on the go with an intuitive and free app.

"The initial announcement of the myLink resulted in historic pre-orders. In the history of Somfy North America, we have never had a control offer that garnered this much excitement pre-release," said Tom Murphy, Chief Operating Officer of Somfy North America. "With the tablet version available, customers can easily control their RTS motorization directly from their mobile device, whether at home, work or on vacation. Now, with the touch of a screen, you can make your smart home even smarter."

The myLink changes the way customers experience motorized products and simplifies app control with easy installation and intuitive features. The myLink is a wireless interface that works with any existing or new RTS installation and is easy to install and use. Just download the free app on your smartphone or tablet, plug into any standard wall outlet, and the myLink will use your WiFi network to connect with your RTS motorization.

The myLink offers a range of convenient features including:

• Responsive design optimized for both smartphones and tablets.
• The ability to create schedules so you can program your shades to rise with the sun or stay closed until noon.
• The power to control multiple channels and groupings from your mobile device and easy scalability if you need to add more products.
• A demo mode making it truly simple to test out the app before purchase, allowing Somfy Experts to share the benefits of the myLink with interested customers.

"Somfy believes in being on the cutting-edge of technology and the myLink is part of a larger innovation push, which includes our quietest ever motor range and new commercial building solutions," Murphy said. "The myLink app allows our customers to take the power of Somfy wherever life leads."
