FAIRFIELD, N.J. -- Oct. 14, 2015 -- In an effort to provide integrators with backup power protection for a broader range of project requirements, Middle Atlantic Products is demonstrating the Select Series UPS at CEDIA EXPO 2015. This collection of competitively priced UPS products features compact form factors and IP capability, and joins the company's Premium Series UPS products for an expanded portfolio of solutions that meet varying price points, space requirements, and system capabilities.

At the heart of the Select Series UPS offering are 1RU, 500VA and 1000VA models for easy one-person installation and maximum runtime in a minimal footprint. All models are capable of remote monitoring and control by adding an optional IP card. Select Series UPS products are also available in 2RU, 1500VA or 2200VA models.

"Many A/V installations now leverage sophisticated audio, video, and networking technologies where a power loss is not only a nuisance but could render a whole system inoperable," said Paul Mott, application specialist for Middle Atlantic. "Our Select Series UPS backup power systems mitigate such damage and ensure a transparent shift to backup power sources in the event of a power outage -- which translates to maximum uptime of electronic components. That peace of mind, along with a low-profile size and cost-effective price point, makes the Select Series a clear winner."

Bank control of outlets allows simple system rebooting in the event of a lockup as well as load shedding of noncritical equipment. Other features found in Select Series UPS products include simulated sine wave output waveform, 8 ms transfer time, automatic voltage regulation, and surge protection.

The Select Series UPS collection will be on display at CEDIA EXPO 2015 in booth 5412. More information about this and other Middle Atlantic products is available at www.middleatlantic.com.
