Austria-based iRoom and Key Digital are very happy to announce the launch of the Compass Control driver for iBezel.

Easy access for an easy life

iRoom's iBezel is an elegant solution for in-wall docking of Apple's iPadtm in private homes, hotels, yachts, restaurants, hospitals, boardrooms, retail spaces and more. iRoom exclusively features a patented motorized docking system that opens and closes the Dock to securely store the iPadTM. With iBezel, an integrated keypad is located directly under the surface of the glass bezel. You decide which commands are assigned to the keypad. Select your function and set your quick access button. Through the intuitive iRoom app, programming & integration with Compass Control will be simple. iBezel will grant quick and easy access to your favorite functions such as; lighting, audio, video, home security, HVAC and much more with the touch of a button.

iBezel's integrated keypad operates independent of the iPad and the Compass Control app. With the iPad undocked, users have access to the most common commands. As a hard-wired solution, iBezel's keypad becomes the most reliable control interface in the system. The elegant design gives Integrators even more advantages. With its unique proximity sensor the keypad will automatically wake up when you are within range. More convenience - more WOW.

Compass Control represents the first fully integrated major control system built from the ground up to use Apple's iOS 5 devices - iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch - as its backbone. Key Digital in conjunction with Compass Control's Compass Alliance Partners (CAP) has created a fully integrated control system with driver support for hardware. Combining the knowledge and expertise from the different CAP brands has allowed Compass Control to develop into a complete turnkey residential or commercial control solution.

Compass Control is currently comprised of three main components: the Compass Control Software License (KD-CSLX1) and the new Compass Control Master Controller (KD-MC1000). When these elements are combined with the Compass Control App - currently available in the App Store on iTunes - any installation is now given complete control over audio, video, HVAC, lighting, shades, and security.

Yale Real Living™ Assure Lock™ with Bluetooth

The new Yale Real Living™ Assure Lock™ with Bluetooth replaces conventional keys with digital keys accessed through the Yale Digital Keys app for Android and iOS mobile devices, and through an app for the new Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch. The Yale app allows homeowners to unlock doors, send keys to others, control when others have access, get a message when someone enters, and revoke a digital key at any time. Unlocking the deadbolt couldn't be simpler, whether using the Samsung Gear S2 or a smartphone. With the new Samsung Gear S2, touch the watch app to activate the digital key, then touch the lock screen to unlock the deadbolt. With a smartphone, Yale's "Twist and Go" technology allows the user to hold the phone vertically when approaching the door, then twist it 90 degrees to unlock the deadbolt. Homeowners can also unlock the deadbolt using its capacitive touchscreen and a four- to eight-digit code.
