Bruce Lancaster, Logitech to Keynote at the Internet of Things Summit “Big Data & The Rise of the Interconnected World”

Innovation Enterprise announced today that Vice President, New Ventures, Logitech Bruce Lancaster will be a Keynote speaker at the “Internet of Things Summit” in Boston on Sept 9-10, 2015. This year's agenda will address topics including Big Data, wearable technology, automation, the connected city and applications of data collection.

Bruce Lancaster is the VP and General Manager of Harmony and New Ventures at Logitech, heading Logitech's Digital Home business, which includes the expansion into home automation. He is also responsible for driving new product ventures for Logitech. Before recently returning to Logitech, Bruce was VP and General Manager of mobility at Flextronics, where he drove business growth of mobility products including phones, wearables, connected home and wireless connected devices. In his presentation "From Tech Geek to Soccer Mom: Driving Adoption of the Smart Home" Lancaster will share thoughts on the complexities currently facing consumers in smart home adoption, and what's needed to move home control from early adopters to mainstream home experiences.

The Internet of Things is one of the hottest areas in tech and Big Data in the past 25 years. As the world becomes increasingly connected, we are now seeing the potential of connecting more devices and sensors to an over-arching network.
