2016 Storage Visions Conference Award Submissions Now Open

San Jose, CA—August 20, 2015—Award submissions are now open for the Fifthteenth Annual Storage Visions Conference January 4 & 5, 2016 at the Luxor Hotel Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The conference also features participation by SNIA. The conference theme is: Storage for the Next 5,000 Years (inspired by the Egyptian motifs at the Luxor Hotel). These awards include Visionary Product Awards: Mobile Consumer Storage, Home Consumer Storage, Enabling Storage Technology, Home Entertainment, Professional Class Systems and Professional Class Storage.

There are also Visionary End User Awards: High Performance Storage Application, Content Storage Applications and Archiving or Digital Preservation Application. There are Visionary Company Awards for Consumer Electronics, Professional and Enterprise and Services and Support. The Art of Storage award recognizing innovations in design for customer ease of use and good industrial design in digital storage applications, storage media and digital storage devices.

The 2016 Storage Visions Conference will include special SNIA tutorials the afternoon before the conference as well as SNIA and SNIA SSSI exhibits and demonstrations in our exhibit area showing some emerging storage standards and representing break-through technologies going from solid state devices, NVMe, long term data retention and cloud storage.
