Latest IN110x series projectors feature a 3200-lumen long-life lamp, HDMI input, and sub-$550 price tag to complement any classroom
PORTLAND, Ore. - July 1, 2015 — InFocus Corporation (www.infocus.com) today announced its newest classroom-optimized projectors - the IN110x series. InFocus designed the five new projectors, which each feature 3200-lumen brightness and 15,000:1 contrast ratio, to fit school budgets and the ambient-light levels of most classrooms. Each model has a majority of the same connectivity options, but differ in native resolution, aspect ratio, throw ratio and zoom ratio in order to fit classrooms' differing screen shapes and throw distances. This makes them ideal for upgrading older projector technology or retrofits into existing installations.
The new IN110x-series projector line includes the IN112x, IN114x, IN116x, IN118HDxc and the IN119HDx and each has an MSRP of less than $550.
"The IN119HDx is has a superior image engine and Ultra HQ glass lens for an unrivaled 1080p image at this price," said Dave Duncan, InFocus product manager. "I can only imagine how much more engaging my school art or history lessons would have been in HD or 3D. At our lowest-ever price for 1080p, such crisp, immersive images that enhance learning are now a school reality."
The IN119HDx and IN118HDxc offer full native 1080p high-definition resolution, the IN116x offers widescreen WXGA, the IN114x offers standard XGA, and the IN112x offers SVGA resolution. Each projector produces an image up to 299 inches (nearly 25-feet diagonal), is 3D ready and features VGA and HDMI inputs, which enable connections to nearly any source, from video to computers.
"Classrooms are all different shapes and sizes and often have existing projection screens and mounts that schools prefer to use when they upgrade their projectors. We keep that in mind with the IN110x family," said Duncan. "When it's time to replace older projectors, IT staff can find an InFocus IN110x model that exactly fits their specification needs and budget."
The IN118HDx will be available exclusively online through InFocusStore.com and select online retailers.
The complete IN110x-series projectors will be available in 2015 Q3 directly from InFocus at www.InFocusStore.com and InFocus resellers. For more information, please visit www.infocus.com.
