Volutone Hosts Fourth Annual SoCal Surveillance & Intrusion Showcase

Southern California distributor collaborates with premier security brands to deliver hands-on demos and training sessions for area dealers, specialty integrators and contractors.

Volutone, the premier regional distributor in the Southern California and Nevada territories, invites custom AV integrators and contractors to their fourth Annual SoCal Surveillance and Intrusion Showcase, to be held July 1, 2015 from 2:00 - 7:00pm PST at their Van Nuys, CA location.

With a focus on security applications, installation best practices and technical support, the afternoon event will feature live demos and on-site trainings from some of the biggest names in the safety and surveillance space, including 2GIG, Alarm.com, DSC, Digital Watchdog, Elk, IC Realtime, Kwikset, Luxul, Ubiquiti Networks and 20+ others. Additionally, smart home brands Lutron and Nest will share their latest connected devices, educating attendees on the benefits of integrating automated lighting and protective solutions such as smoke and CO alarms to a comprehensive home security system.

"Recent data1 shows that by next year nearly 27% of U.S. homes will have a security system with professional of fee-based self monitoring," said Trevor Hansen, Vice President of Volutone Distributing. "There is a huge opportunity for our regional integrators and contractors to educate their clients on the benefits of installed security solutions, but they need the proper knowledge and training to be successful. At Volutone, we pride ourselves on being a partner who delivers real added-value and business resources for our partners, making interactive events like this crucial for our dealer network."

For those who may have missed this year's ISC West tradeshow, Volutone's annual Surveillance & Intrusion Showcase provides the perfect setting to explore the security market's most influential products, while gaining valuable face time with manufacturer representatives.
