Poet Audio review on High-End Munich

Poet Audio exhibited at Munich High End the interior of the sound systems pandoretta° and concordetta°

Munich, May 2015- For the first time in its story, Austrian High End manufacturer Poet Audio showed the internal parts of its wireless sound systems. After a successful show at the previous High End show, at this year's fair from the 14th to 17th May, Poet Audio focused on the detail. Visitors took an extensive look in hall three, booth G01 at the inside of the sound systems and learnt about the latest products that are aimed at design-conscious people.

As a company that attaches high value to producing exclusively in Austria and Europe, the focus on this year's trade fair was on displaying the high level product quality.

High-quality processing for sophisticated music lovers

The inner carcass made from a density fiberboard is the core of the sound systems and the result of finest carpentry work from Styria. As high requirements are demanded in the production as well as in the milling, sizing and screwing, these procedures are accomplished with great exactness.

Pandoretta° incorporates four neodymium tweeters, two midrange speakers and a bass chassis Kevlar cone, plus a 170-watt amplifier that enables a sound radiation of approximately 360 degrees. Concordetta° uses three independent speakers that reproduce the full range of 180° in stunning high-quality sound. Nine different materials, like stainless steel or white oak, allow the customer to mix and match its surfaces according to your their own preferences.

Moreover, the world's best Bluetooth receiver is deployed for wireless music streaming. This excellent and efficient amplifier processes the music signal up to 170 watt output power and transfers it to the speakers. Besides the powerful mainboard, the crossover network and power supply are internal developments of Poet Audio. These are of very high importance for an authentic sound.

The exterior of the sound systems consists of brushed stainless steel and is manufactured through a combination of machine-made as well as hand-made techniques. The outer case of pandoretta° is determined by its high artistic and mechanical features:

The vertical salient angles are welded and swished by hand. Welding and bending the brushed stainless steel without having unwanted discolorations and deflections is a masterly achievement for this technique.

preannouncement: the poet bar° and further innovations

The latest masterpiece is already in development: The poet bar°- a High-End Stereo TV soundbar with the distinctive Poet design. At Europe's largest specialist trade fair for high- end entertainment, Poet Audio provided exclusive insides into the drafts of the upcoming soundbar. Pandoretta° has been upgraded as well: the sound system can now be perfectly incorporated into Sonos Multiroom music systems. The invisible installation of the Sonos Connect enables the pandoretta° to operate as an active speaker. Furthermore, as a result of the advanced Bluetooth capability, the reception range is increased as far as 15 meters and more.
