Security and Automation Leader Announces Built-in Support for Global Caché Hardware
Jacksonville, OR, USA - April 30, 2015 - Global Caché, the leading independent manufacturer of IP, WiFi, and HTTP enabling connectivity products for the control and automation market, announced today they have entered into a strategic partnership with Zipato, creators of interactive security and automation systems based on cloud technology. The partnership enables Zipato users to expand Zipato control to additional IR, serial, and relay devices.
Global Caché's products connect almost any electrical device to a WiFi and/or IP network so it can be controlled automated, and maintained by network-based software. Available worldwide, the Zipato system is based primarily on Zipabox, a wireless home automation controller that includes Z-Wave and can be uniquely expanded to include most other technologies including ZigBee, KNX, NEST, SONOS, EnOcean, Somfy, as well as other protocols.
