Soap Inc. Announces Availability of First Total Home Automation Application That Will Ultimately Connect All Network Devices Under One Single App

Easy-to-use interface lets users control devices from a single app with their smart phone or tablet

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., April 27, 2015 - Soap Inc., developer of unified home-based automation technology, today announced the retail availability of its Soap Home app that unites users' home automation devices such as lights and thermostats, while also connecting their computers, tablets and phones.

Soap is introducing the first single user app that communicates with the hub users already own such as a Netgear or Linksys router—no new hardware is needed. Soap currently allows users to control the following:

* Nest Thermostat Management: including fan, heating/cooling settings and remote management.
* Nest Protect Management: including carbon monoxide/smoke detection, battery level and check.
* Philips Hue Control: including on/off function, management of multiple hue lights and color selection.
* LIFX Bulb Control: including on/off function, management of multiple hue lights and color selection.

Through an easy step-by-step process, Soap Home app users can set up and manage multiple brands and devices by different vendors—from anywhere in the world. Users can go to soapapp.us to find a recommended set of devices that will automate their home with a few simple clicks.

In addition to the companies Soap currently works with listed above, new additions will be made including Wink, LightWave RF, ecobee, Iris, Dropcam, Honeywell, Insteon and Homeboy.

Soap Home is available for download at the Apple App Store for a limited time 99 cent price by visiting https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/soap-home/id982664755?mt=8. Android versions and other updates will be rolled out in the coming months.

"Our goal is to help people simplify the technology they use every day," said Brandon Jones, co-founder of Soap Inc. "Users of our app will discover new ease-of-use when it comes to control of their home automation world that has never been available before."

ELK Products -C1M1 Dual-Path Alarm Communicators with Remote Services

C1M1 offers a truly significant reduction in transmission time in comparison to other communicators that rely on dial capture or data bus decoding. This can result in quicker response time to emergency situations which could save lives and assets. By providing both IP and cellular pathways, C1M1 provides the reliability installers are looking for in an alarm communicator. C1M1 eliminates port forwarding and extra fees for remote access. Installers can remotely upload/download programming changes to M1 controls over IP or cellular using ElkRP2. Consumers can control the M1 remotely via the free ElkLink mobile app and web portal, as well as eKeypad and M1 Touch Pro apps. Other IP-based software and interface partners can connect to the M1 control over the local network through C1M1. C1M1 also provides email/text notifications for arm, disarm, and alarm events. ELK-C1M14GSM supports GSM (AT&T/T-Mobile) networks and ELK-C1M1CDMA supports CDMA (Verizon) networks.
