New Driver Allows Intuitive Control of Denon HEOS Multi-Room Audio Systems Directly From RTI Interfaces
SHAKOPEE, Minn. - Feb. 3, 2015 - Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI) today announced the availability of a new two-way driver for use with the Denon HEOS family of products. Free of charge to RTI dealers, the driver provides integrators and end users with an incredibly powerful solution for browsing online streaming or local music as well as adjusting audio settings on up to 16 media players from a single page of an RTI user interface.
Developed by RTI, the two-way driver for Denon HEOS allows installers to implement the new solution easily without any licensing or instance expenses, resulting in a powerful, cost-effective innovation for today's multi-room audio installations. With control of up to 16 media players on a single screen, the driver readily scales to fit the scope of larger-sized installations. Further advantages include a large selection of streaming music services with full browsing capabilities, music player grouping on-the-fly, and the ability to listen to external audio sources such as smartphones, tablets, or a PC music library on any player.
"Consumers are increasingly looking to take advantage of streaming music in every room of their homes," said Scott Kelley, vice president of sales and marketing for RTI. "To help our dealers meet this demand, we worked closely with the Denon team to develop a robust two-way driver that integrates the incredible Denon HEOS audio system into the RTI control platform. We are extremely happy to provide our dealer base with this simple, convenient solution for incorporating multi-room audio into our home automation systems."
"RTI's powerful solutions easily integrate our HEOS audio system into the greater automation ecosystem," said Paul Belanger, product manager, Denon. "Supporting full browsing for today's streaming music services, the new two-way driver provides our mutual customers with a seamless listening experience available in any area of the house. We are pleased to collaborate with RTI on developing this innovation."
