Innovative Technologies to Headline Inaugural CES Unveiled Tokyo

Japanese innovation and global tech trends to highlight event as industry ramps up for 2015 International CES Asia

Arlington, Va., January 27, 2015 - Following a record-breaking 2015 International CES, and leading up to the inaugural 2015 International CES Asia, the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) today announced details surrounding CES Unveiled Tokyo, an industry event for credentialed members of the press, consumer electronics (CE) industry analysts, the investor community and tech industry influencers. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, February 18, 2015, in Tokyo, Japan.

Following the success of the global CES Unveiled event series in 2014, CEA is adding Tokyo to its list of target international cities which in the past have included stops in: London, Paris, Stockholm, Shanghai, Tel Aviv and Warsaw. CES Unveiled Tokyo will showcase ground-breaking innovations from both budding startups and established brands to highlight the innovation in the Asian market leading up to the inaugural 2015 International CES Asia in Shanghai, P.R.C.

During CES Unveiled Tokyo, a half-day, industry-only event, CEA executives will debut regional and global research, provide CES news and cover product trends coming from the 2015 International CES. Japanese press, industry analysts and technology industry influencers will interact with leading technology companies from Japan and other multi-national brands that will showcase their latest products and technologies during a tabletop networking exhibition and reception.
