Celebrating 50 years of cooking innovation, Dacor, manufacturer of ultra-premium kitchen appliances, will showcase an unprecedented voice activation feature with its line of smart kitchen appliances as well as the introduction of Fully Integrated Refrigeration at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas, January 20-22, in booth N2538.

Celebrity chefs Jet Tila and Jan D'Atri will be at the Dacor booth for cooking demonstrations to showcase the possibilities of a Dacor culinary kitchen.

Jan D'Atri, Thursday, January 22 at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

"We are introducing new features that make the world's smartest kitchen appliances even smarter," said Dacor CEO Chuck Huebner. "These new features modernize the cooking experience for home chefs, ushering in a new era of innovation and convenience in the kitchen."

Starting spring 2015, Dacor will enable customers to use smart phones or tablets to remotely control their Discovery iQ cooking appliances without even lifting a finger - literally. This new feature allows customers to control their smart appliances by voice command through the Dacor iQ Remote App, from anywhere they are connected. This elevates the level of remote convenience for the home chef. Whether entertaining outdoors, serving appetizers to guests, or running late from the office, Dacor customers can now control their iQ products conveniently and hands-free.

"With our new voice activation feature, we are utilizing smart technology to elevate the connected, smart kitchen," states Dacor President Steve Joseph. "The new appliances combine the cooking precision our customers have enjoyed for 50 years with remote, voice-operated programming for enhanced convenience."

Another new product set to be unveiled at KBIS is the Discovery line of Fully Integrated Refrigerators. Meeting the discerning demands of today's home chefs, the new Discovery line of Fully Integrated Refrigerators include interior features designed to enhance the kitchen experience. One of the most noticeable features is the new GlideShelf technology allowing for smooth, single-handed shelf and bin repositioning. Home chefs will also appreciate the SoftShut drawers, a BeadBlast trim finish and FlushFit, a patented hinge system, which allows the door to swing clear of adjoining cabinetry, so seamless integration is possible.

Dacor will also showcase some of its other industry-leading kitchen appliances including:

*DacorMatch Color System: Allows the most fashion-forward home chefs to create custom appliances in virtually any color.
*Discovery iQ 30" Wall Oven: The world's first wall oven to feature the integrated Discovery iQ Controller for Android™.
*Discovery 36" Gas TouchTop: A cooktop that features digital, glass-touch controls for an entirely new level of gas cooking precision.
*Discovery Winestation: Enjoy wine just as the vintner intended for up to 60 days without the loss of flavor or natural aroma.
