Sales of Z-Wave chips and modules achieved double digit growth over 2013 bringing the world-wide total to more than 35 million Z-Wave enabled devices
A majority of the leading U.S. home security companies use Z-Wave technology for their home automation offerings
Telecom operators including AT&T, Verizon, and Orange Telecom have selected Z-Wave for their home control services
Z-Wave products are gaining momentum in retail stores and outselling other IoT protocols by a wide margin
Z-Wave Plus products were introduced to the market, offering extended features and simplifying installation
A frequency standard for Korea market was added to the list of Z-Wave approved frequencies and was added to the Z-Wave SDK 6.51.03 .The approval of these frequencies for control and automation applications brings the benefits of the world-standard Z-Wave wireless protocol to the world's most advanced nation for information and communications technology (ICT), according to the International Telecommunications Union (ITU)
