2015CES - PanaCast Personal Panoramic Video Showcased by Altia Systems at CES 2015

Intel Capital's hot venture demos first and only 200º panoramic video experience that allows groups of people to communicate in real time in a personal, natural and immersive way, anytime and anywhere

CES 2015, Las Vegas, NV - December 29, 2014 - Altia Systems, developer of the PanaCast Experience and camera, the award-winning system for video and web collaboration, announced today that it will host a demonstration suite at CES 2015 in the Westgate Resort (#316) from January 6-8. The PanaCast Experience allows people to communicate immersively as a group, in real time, in a natural and personal way, from anywhere in the connected world. Each participant receives natural-looking 200° panoramic-HD video streams on their own devices, with HD audio. They can then "look around" in the video streams on their own, as if they were there by using touch enabled gestures, without disturbing other participants' experience. Discussions flow naturally and freely in PanaCast sessions, helping people see more and do more in less time during personal and business communications.

"The PanaCast Experience with its 200º panoramic-HD video streams, touch enabled navigation and HD audio provides a truly natural 'being there' experience in personal and business collaboration," said Aurangzeb Khan, CEO of Altia Systems. "We invite CES attendees to experience PanaCast for themselves in suite (#316) at the Westgate Resort".

The PanaCast camera works with popular collaboration platforms like Skype, Microsoft Lync, Cisco WebEx, Citrix GoToMeeting, Google Hangouts.

Yale Real Living™ Assure Lock™ with Bluetooth

The new Yale Real Living™ Assure Lock™ with Bluetooth replaces conventional keys with digital keys accessed through the Yale Digital Keys app for Android and iOS mobile devices, and through an app for the new Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch. The Yale app allows homeowners to unlock doors, send keys to others, control when others have access, get a message when someone enters, and revoke a digital key at any time. Unlocking the deadbolt couldn't be simpler, whether using the Samsung Gear S2 or a smartphone. With the new Samsung Gear S2, touch the watch app to activate the digital key, then touch the lock screen to unlock the deadbolt. With a smartphone, Yale's "Twist and Go" technology allows the user to hold the phone vertically when approaching the door, then twist it 90 degrees to unlock the deadbolt. Homeowners can also unlock the deadbolt using its capacitive touchscreen and a four- to eight-digit code.
