(Dec 17th, 2014 - Taipei) Chuango Security Technology Corporation, an innovative developer of wireless DIY home security systems, is pleased to announce the participation in International CES 2015 - together with its own smart home technology brand smanos - in Las Vegas from Jan. 6th to 9th. "We are really excited to be at CES for the very first time, and are proudly presenting our wireless DIY home security solution portfolio to the worldwide market," said Ken Li, founder and CEO of Chuango. "We're making great strides in markets all over the world, and we want to show our existing and potential distribution and retail partners that we invest heavily in research, design, innovation, quality and support. At this show, we're launching and marketing even more comprehensive, intuitive and sleek-looking solutions." The complete solution portfolio of Chuango and smanos speaks minimalistic elegance, self-install and self-monitor, and will be available at Stand 62000 at Westgate Las Vegas (formerly LVH) in Tech East.

New products on display will include the latest WiFi alarm and HD camera, as well as many uniquely designed cellular GSM and OEM/ODM options. "The new Chuango W1 burglar alarm system boasts super simple WiFi setup for easy smartphone access, and you can pre-set routines for automatic push notifications to remind you to safeguard your property and loved ones, or to save on energy bills," said Lily Chen, Senior Product Manager. "Scaling up the system simply requires a few swipes and taps on the free app, to add up to 30 wireless sensors and cameras, without calling in an expensive installer." Users get to enjoy the comfort and convenience of a smart and safe home within minutes upon opening the box.

On the home monitoring front, the 720p WiFi HD camera, Chuango IP113, has a wide field of view at 95° (equivalent to two regular home cameras combined) and astounding night vision capability, far superior to its competition's in the DIY segment. "Chuango IP113 is equipped with a high-caliber DSP and OmniVision CMOS sensor, which produce fluid video footage and sharp still images, providing end users with HD-quality visual evidence 24/7," said Abigail Chen, Chuango Brand Development Director. "With one-click WiFi and sound link setup, 'installation' can be done in seconds, with no wires and no fuss." The IP113 comes with 10 built-in IR LEDs to ensure phenomenal night vision; when activated in low-light conditions, the IP113 ensures security and visual confirmation, and minimizes false alarms. Furthermore, Chuango IP113 works seamlessly with the award-winning G5 GSM alarm system, and Android and iOS apps are freely available for real-time alerts, remote monitoring and listening in. With the perfect combination of a 95° ultra-wide view and crystal clear audio, users won't miss a beat of what's going on in their home or small shop. Other customizable solutions will also be showcased at Stand 62000 at Westgate throughout the four days of CES.

Chuango and smanos offer an all-inclusive security, monitoring and automation solution portfolio, especially suitable for retail channels in hardware/DIY, consumer electronics and IT/mobile accessories. The multifunctional design, support and logistics centers in Amsterdam and Dallas facilitate the turning of popular demands, disruptive innovations and intuitive designs into palpable sensations. From wireless, app-enabled alarm and automation systems to remote security, energy and health management, Chuango and smanos solutions cater to today's mobile-driven lifestyles and ensure homeowners have complete control, comfort and visual confirmation right at their fingertips within a few short minutes and easy swipes and taps.

Companywide, Chuango has experienced triple-digit growth over the past 18 months, and the momentum is still picking up worldwide; the company is now publicly listed and traded on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (link in Chinese) in Beijing. What's being demanded in the residential market these days is smart, simple, sleek, mobile yet compact and integrated ingenuity, and Chuango and smanos will continue providing just that, with even more smart home and remote management options. Stay tuned for more!

Yale Real Living™ Assure Lock™ with Bluetooth

The new Yale Real Living™ Assure Lock™ with Bluetooth replaces conventional keys with digital keys accessed through the Yale Digital Keys app for Android and iOS mobile devices, and through an app for the new Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch. The Yale app allows homeowners to unlock doors, send keys to others, control when others have access, get a message when someone enters, and revoke a digital key at any time. Unlocking the deadbolt couldn't be simpler, whether using the Samsung Gear S2 or a smartphone. With the new Samsung Gear S2, touch the watch app to activate the digital key, then touch the lock screen to unlock the deadbolt. With a smartphone, Yale's "Twist and Go" technology allows the user to hold the phone vertically when approaching the door, then twist it 90 degrees to unlock the deadbolt. Homeowners can also unlock the deadbolt using its capacitive touchscreen and a four- to eight-digit code.
