Barrington, IL - September 23, 2014 - The Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA) gathered in Denver last week to attend the 2014 CEDIA EXPO, absorbing new product launches, training and exploring the latest consumer electronics trends. This year also included a first-ever for the industry's only member-owned buying group as HTSA took to the floor in its inaugural booth, geared towards educating new integrators, retailers and vendors on the benefits and services provided by the organization.
Members Meet New Vendors, Leverage Time-Saving Tools
For HTSA Members, CEDIA EXPO kicked off with the traditional Member Meeting, where over 75 of the organization's custom integration, retail professionals and key staff joined together to refocus their energy and refine objectives for the remainder of this year. HTSA Managing Director, Bob Hana, walked the group through Q4 sales initiatives, while also introducing new additions to the HSTA Vendor line-up; Wi3, TiVo and Kaleidescape. The Member Meeting concluded with a closer look at HTSA's time-saving tools, including its enhanced intranet portal which provides 24/7 access to vendor leads, sales, marketing funds and more. Motivating Members to finish the year strong, the enriched web tool helps Members generate the demand and gain traction in target markets through integrated plug and play campaigns that drive business; from digital to print, advertising to social and business listings to events. Annual CEDIA Cocktail Event Draws Impressive Crowd
Each year HTSA Members, Vendors and media gather the night before show-open for an evening of networking. This year's event, held at the Marriott City Center, drew an impressive 300+ crowd including executives from major HTSA Vendors ranging from LG, Sony, and Core Brands to Dana Innovations, Milestone AV, Audioquest and more.
"You could feel the energy, passion and synergy the minute you stepped into the room," said Hana. "We take pride in cultivating meaningful relationships between our Members and Vendor partners, allowing them to uncover creative ways to do business together. As a joint force we can collectively nurture business opportunities and continue to grow the industry throughout 2014 and beyond."
HTSA Momentum Continues to Build
Approaching Q4, HTSA Members and Vendors continue to be busy, as anticipation rises for the 2014 HTSA Fall Conference; scheduled for October 21- 23, 2014 at the Sofitel Water Tower Hotel, Chicago. Last season's conference drew record attendance, with over 200 Member and Vendor representatives present for the launch of new service provider partnerships, marketing tools, resources and training opportunities.
This fall there is much to celebrate -with the addition of new Vendor partners, Wi3, TiVo and Kaleidescape, HTSA now supports 55 premium brands, spanning high-tech audio/video, home automation, lighting control, security, IT/networking and more.
