Monitor Homes or Businesses Live with the Swann Digital Wireless Security System Anytime, Anywhere

Using SwannLink™ peer-to-peer technology, view cameras over the internet, on iOS and Android smartphones or tablets

SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. - (August 26, 2014) - Swann Security, an industry leader with more than 25 years of security monitoring experience, announces its Digital Wireless Security System (ADW-410™ Camera and Monitor with Motion Triggered Recording). This innovative plug and play wireless surveillance system offers not only a quick and easy do-it-yourself security solution, but also day and night HD quality video that is accessible remotely from mobile devices and tablets.

The Swann Digital Wireless Security System's powerful 720P high definition camera is capable of recording up to a distance of 165 feet/50 meters and produces high quality images both in daylight and at night using its 20 IR LED's. In addition, the camera has a built-in microphone allowing users the opportunity to not only see, but also hear audio up to 16 feet/5 meters. Users can monitor what's happening 24/7, and are notified via smartphone or tablet when there's activity thanks to the camera's motion-triggered feature. Cameras can be mounted inside and outside due to its IP66 weather resistant rating.

For added surveillance convenience, the camera features a high resolution 7" LCD touch-screen monitor and built-in battery, enabling the user to view a live-feed in different locations within the home or business. While on the go, users can watch the feed using the free SwannLink™ app, compatible with Android and iOS devices.

"We continuously listen to user feedback, developing new products based on our customers' needs," says Jeremy Stewart, Swann's VP Global Marketing. "More and more, consumers want to manage their own home security, whether it's setting up their own security systems or monitoring them remotely. The Swann Digital Wireless Security System provides these advantages while also enhancing technology, resulting in a truly exceptional product."

SwannLink connectivity uses peer-to-peer technology, a new method of connecting to the internet using the SwannLink server in the cloud and a product ID number. Each Digital Wireless Security System includes a unique QR code and ID number, and once scanned, the QR code checks the ID number on the server to confirm the owner's username and password. It then connects the user directly using a secure 128-bit encrypted connection.

The system's motion triggered video recording capability means users can extend recording for longer periods of time. The system includes an 8GB micro SD card (memory is expandable up to 32GB) that saves video feeds.

The Swann Digital Wireless Security System retails for $249.99 and is available at B&H, HH Greg, Meijer, Petra.

ELK Products -C1M1 Dual-Path Alarm Communicators with Remote Services

C1M1 offers a truly significant reduction in transmission time in comparison to other communicators that rely on dial capture or data bus decoding. This can result in quicker response time to emergency situations which could save lives and assets. By providing both IP and cellular pathways, C1M1 provides the reliability installers are looking for in an alarm communicator. C1M1 eliminates port forwarding and extra fees for remote access. Installers can remotely upload/download programming changes to M1 controls over IP or cellular using ElkRP2. Consumers can control the M1 remotely via the free ElkLink mobile app and web portal, as well as eKeypad and M1 Touch Pro apps. Other IP-based software and interface partners can connect to the M1 control over the local network through C1M1. C1M1 also provides email/text notifications for arm, disarm, and alarm events.
