ReVox Presents The Scala 120 Loudspeaker

Designed and developed to fulfill customer demands for a loudspeaker that would provide high-end audio quality in a stylish enclosure.

Kitchner, Ontario (July 2014) -- ReVox, popular Swiss-based manufacturer of high performance home entertainment equipment, has announced the Scala 120 loudspeaker. The Scala 120 meets the exacting audio performance and aesthetically pleasing standards of the most discerning customer.

Designed and developed to fulfill customer demands for a loudspeaker that would provide high-end audio quality in a stylish enclosure, the Scala 120 can be integrated into both ultra modern and classically styled living spaces with ease.

Loaded with four 3.54-inch (90 mm) woofers and a 1.18-inch (30 mm) tweeter, the Scala 120 provides exceptional clarity and gentle but highly detailed acoustic matching. Through its unique shape, the multi-braced housing prevents the creation of unwanted additional sound waves. The end result is smooth and even sound throughout the listening area.

During the development process, engineers at ReVox created new forming processes for the production of the highly complex wooden housing. Special gluing and molding techniques were necessary for the fixing of the 3D, milled wooden enclosures. The speaker side panel housing is made up of 16 layers of wood, glued together, then milled using a sophisticated 5 axis process.

The Scala 120 is a unique class of product - combining a sensational design with unparalleled sound performance. Both visually and acoustically stunning, it is sure to satisfy every music lovers' senses.

Yale Real Living™ Assure Lock™ with Bluetooth

The new Yale Real Living™ Assure Lock™ with Bluetooth replaces conventional keys with digital keys accessed through the Yale Digital Keys app for Android and iOS mobile devices, and through an app for the new Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch. The Yale app allows homeowners to unlock doors, send keys to others, control when others have access, get a message when someone enters, and revoke a digital key at any time. Unlocking the deadbolt couldn't be simpler, whether using the Samsung Gear S2 or a smartphone. With the new Samsung Gear S2, touch the watch app to activate the digital key, then touch the lock screen to unlock the deadbolt. With a smartphone, Yale's "Twist and Go" technology allows the user to hold the phone vertically when approaching the door, then twist it 90 degrees to unlock the deadbolt. Homeowners can also unlock the deadbolt using its capacitive touchscreen and a four- to eight-digit code.
