MORGANVILLE, NJ, (InfoComm Booth #C5430) - Aurora Multimedia, a leader in IP control systems and HD video distribution, introduces its latest DXW-3 HDBaseT CAT Wall Plate series. The DXW-3 series consists of three new wall plates (DXW-3, DXW-3E & DXW-3EU, DXW-3EUH) all offering DisplayPort in addition to HDMI and VGA inputs. All units extend the video signals 330ft over UTP CAT5e/6 and can extend up to 600ft using STP CAT6a. Switching sources is accomplished automatically via auto-sense on connection or by front-panel select buttons. Each Video input also has its own associated analog audio input for embedding audio over the HDBaseT signal. For Display Control the DXW-3 has a front panel IR Receiver which can pass IR over the same HDBaseT CAT cable. The new units also feature RS232 Display Control via the front panel buttons configurable via Aurora's DXI Programmer software.

The DXW-3E adds an Ethernet port for easy access to networks and the DXW-3EU & DXW-3EUH has Ethernet and a true USB2.0 extender up to 230ft for use with Interactive displays, USB cameras and more. All models fit into a standard 3-gang low-voltage box and are available in black & white. Made in USA.
