Following the success of the 2014 Spring Conference, HTSA launches amplified tools to expand awareness, build excitement and generate qualified customer leads for home technology specialists and vendor partners.
Barrington, IL - April 16, 2014 - The HomeTechnology Specialists of America (HTSA), announced today an arsenal of enhanced tools geared toward growing knowledge and interest in the home technology channel. Additionally, HTSA launched its custom-built lead management tool, designed to assist Members and Vendors efficiently organize and act on incoming prospects.
Building off of a successful 2014 Spring Conference, where record-attendance delivered 100% Vendor participation, HTSA reflected on the growth and evolution it has experienced over the last few years. HTSA Managing Director, Bob Hana, set the tone by introducing "Contagious Synergy", the group's latest theme, which represents the overwhelming support and collaboration experienced by both Members and Vendors. Hana also noted that HTSA as a buying group is "leading the industry in digital marketing" and "leading home technology specialists in selling new technologies to early adopters and adapters".

The New HDLiving.com
With a refreshed look and feel, the HTSA-owned and operated HDLiving.com serves as a media resource for both Members and Vendors looking to drive education and further appreciation for home electronics and specialty technology applications. With a warmer, more consumer-friendly design, the renovated site also features enhanced video capabilities, high-resolution photo galleries and boosted optimization, including more integrated social media sharing, for stronger engagement and search-ability. The site first began to see changes in early 2014 when HTSA announced industry editor and AV enthusiast, Dennis Burger, as editor-in-chief. Today, HD Living will continue to act as an information hub, cataloguing industry trends, new product announcements, in-depth reviews, project case studies and more, while collecting and distributing local leads to HTSA Members.
Launch of "HTSA Insight"
Previously, known as the HTSA Quarterly, the organization's print publication is coming back stronger than ever with a completely new and innovative layout, powerful editorial and a renewed vision. HTSA Marketing Director, Kathleen Marini shared sneak peek snapshots of the revamped creative which includes a fresh, modern vibe that will act as the perfect leave behind for both Members and Vendors to share with current customers and prospects. The inaugural issue of HTSA Insight is expected in time for this summer's HTSA Marketing Summit III and will incorporate product reviews, industry outlook features, trends reports, electronics round-ups and more.
"Contagious Synergy" Continues at HTSA Marketing Summit III
HTSA will hold its Marketing Summit III, from Tuesday, July 15th through Thursday, July 17th at the Hyatt Regency located in Rosemont just east of Chicago, IL. The summit, a private event for HTSA Members and Authorized Vendors, will feature best practice content, interactive workshops and real world successes in a strategy to take participant business development efforts to the next level. The event keynote from Google, "Competing in a Digital Ecosystem", will be followed up with content around driving organic web growth, marketing industry tools to create demand and traditional marketing methodologies for the AV industry. Members Take Advantage of New Lead Management Tool
First shared at the 2014 Spring Conference, the new program, called LEAD ME, is a lead management system that creates transparency between suppliers and integrators. Custom-built for HTSA, and the first-ever offered by a buying group, the software application sits on the HTSA web portal where Vendors can upload all the available data on the lead into the system. From there the lead is sent to the geographically closest HTSA Member that is appropriate in that local market, and triggers an email to the dealer alerting them of received lead(s). The integrator can then assign individual leads to members of their sales team, reach out, close it and/or take other actions. Furthermore, as leads are being worked on and closed, HTSA Vendors can see those prospects are being managed.
Overall with a handful of augmented services and the state-of-the-art lead management tool, HTSA is poised for continued growth and evolution. Hana said it best as he concluded that, "HTSA has never been stronger or healthier".
