ST. GEORGE, Utah-Wilson Electronics (www.WilsonElectronics.com), manufacturer of North America's top-selling line of cellular signal boosters, announced it has achieved Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification for three new 4G cellular signal boosters designed for the custom integrator market.
The new Custom Installer Series (CIS) line of signal boosters, namely, the CI 560, CI 565 and CI 570, enhance 4G as well as earlier-generation cell signals for all major U.S. carriers' networks. The CI booster series will only be available at the retail level from organizations active in this industry channel.
"Receiving the FCC certification to the new network protection standards is a significant achievement for everyone at Wilson Electronics, and affirms our position as the industry and market leader," said Robert Van Buskirk, President and CEO of Wilson Electronics. "We're dedicated to providing the best quality and performance in signal booster product solutions to enable cellular users to use their mobile devices where and when they need it."
Every CIS booster is sold as a complete system, which includes everything needed to complete an installation. Expansion options are also available to cover larger indoor areas. The CIS boosters operate at the maximum allowable power under the new FCC guidelines.
"Wilson is now taking a focused approach to the custom installer market, with specialized products available only to integrators and home automation experts," said Joe Banos, Wilson's managing director, strategic market development. "We're doing this so we can truly specialize and focus on the custom integrator's needs; having the right product solutions for this market is key to our strategic goal to grow this segment of our business."
The CI 500 series boosters are the first newly FCC certified signal booster kits designed specifically for the installer market. They're designed to deliver greatly enhanced 4G, 3G and 2G voice and data coverage indoors, while providing a new revenue source for contractors and technology integrators who can solve their customers' cellular reception problems so prevalent in today's energy efficient structures.
Additional customer benefits include:
*Significantly extended cellular coverage indoors
*Reliable connections even in weak-signal areas
*Fewer dropped calls
*Better voice quality
*Faster data downloads
