The kit contains the essential tools needed to strip, cut and terminate coaxial cables.


Expressly designed to meet the needs of installers of home theater, CATV, satellite and video surveillance systems, the kit contains the company's LinearX compression tool, the PrepPRO™ coaxial stripper for RG59 through 6Quad, and the Data-T Cutter, all housed in a hip pouch. When used with an IDEAL F or RCA connector, the tools create a 360° permanent termination that will not come loose. In addition, the tools work with most 21mm non-IDEAL F connectors.

Quality made in the USA, Linear X compression tools are manufactured using all metal components, resulting in a longer service life because there are no plastic pieces to wear out or crack. The zinc-coated, die-cast body and embossed logo are qualities typically found only on tools costing several times that of the Linear X. The handle has a double dipped textured cushion grip for comfort and all-day use, plus has a shorter spread distance in the open position for a comfortable compression cycle for all users. One-handed operation is possible with all compatible connectors. A hinged hasp keeps the tool in a compact closed position when not in use.
