Consumer interest in Demand Response could reach 60% if offered with clear financial incentives

Energy Companies To Address Incentive Programs at 2014 Smart Energy Summit, February 17-19, in Austin

Dallas, Texas, February 6, 2014 - Energy research from Parks Associates finds straightforward financial incentives are the best options for engaging consumers in energy-related programs. 360 View: Energy & American Broadband Households, featuring a 4Q 2013 survey, found nearly 60% of U.S. broadband households would participate in a demand-response (DR) program if offered an incentive of $5 per day for each day the thermostat is adjusted.


Parks Associates will host the 2014 Smart Energy Summit: Engaging the Consumer, an executive conference focused on energy management solutions, February 17-19, 2014, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin, Texas.
