New Storm Outdoor TV from Seura Available for Pre-Order Feb. 1

Improved weatherproof model combines indoor TV elegance with outdoor reliability

Green Bay, Wis. (January 24, 2014) - Seura, the award-winning manufacturer of luxury technology solutions, is pleased to announce availability of the new Storm Outdoor TV.

"The new Storm Outdoor TV delivers the elegant style and performance of indoor TV, engineered with durability and reliability for the best outdoor TV solution," said Seura CEO and co-founder Gretchen Gilbertson. "We introduced engineering samples of the new Storm at CEDIA Expo in September, and dealers who saw it have eagerly awaited its availability. We expect our AV integration partners to be very excited about the new Storm."

Combining elegant design with rugged durability, the new Storm offers end users the best of both worlds. The tapered silhouette and seamless glass face make the outdoor TV an aesthetic fit on patios, decks or poolside. At 3.7 inches thick, the new Storm is significantly thinner than previous versions and industry competitors. Seura's exclusive improved LuminOptics Technology, comprising of dual-layer anti-reflective and UV-coated tempered glass and the ultra-bright LED panel deliver a clear, vivid picture on even the sunniest day.

The new Storm is housed in anodized aluminum and powder-coated steel. Seura's proprietary Activ-Airflow System with heaters allow the TV to withstand temperatures ranging from -30F to 140F, as well as moist and dusty conditions. A sealed weatherproof cabinet, non-corrosive Precision O-Ring System, two-stage filtration and weatherproof media compartment protect against insects and salt. Seura also offers dust covers to keep the Storm cabinet as clean as an indoor TV.

Other features of the new Storm include:

· A full range of AV inputs and outputs: HDMI (3), VGA, Composite (2), Component, Coax, USB, Audio Out (analog and digital)

· 700 cd/m2 panel brightness

· 400x400 Vesa mount pattern for all sizes, with no obstructions (weatherproof mounts available)

· RS232, Front IR Window, IR in and out connections

· A subtle blue status LED, which can be turned off in the OSD

· Standard connections

· 5V DC and 12V DC balun connections

Storm is available in three sizes: 42 inches ($4,999 MSLP), 47 inches ($5,999) and 55 inches ($7,499). The model will be available for pre-orders beginning Feb. 1. Orders submitted by Feb. 19 will ship in March, with all other orders shipping in April. Contact Seura at 1-800-957-3872 or www.seura.com to learn more or become a Seura reseller.
