Voice-controlled home automation with Enblink and Google TV
Enblink now lets you control the devices in your living room and around the house using basic voice commands.
Using the Enblink mobile app for Android, users can already tell their devices to work together by creating custom scenes and events. For example, you can group all of the lights in your living room together, and tell them to dim when you're settling in to watch a movie.
Now, all of the user's scenes are accessible via voice commands.
The new widget feature provides quick access to the voice icon from the Android home screen as well as a convenient, user-friendly shortcut to the scenes and events menu, eliminating the need to navigate to the app to control devices.
"Voice control is changing the way we interact with many of our electronic devices both in the home and on the go," said Jake Yoon, CEO of Enblink. "Here, we wanted showcase some of the possibilities of voice control for home automation."
Enblink works with other Z-Wave home automation products. Currently, there are more than one thousand Z-Wave certified products from some of the world's best-known manufacturers.
