HomeSeer adds automatic camera support and voice programming to its entire line of home automation systems, including the new $199.95 HomeTroller Zee. The new features will be unveiled at CES 2014 next week in Las Vegas.
Bedford, NH January 04, 2014
HomeSeer announces automatic camera support and voice programming for all HomeSeer home automation systems, including the new ultra-affordable HomeTroller Zee. The new features may be configured locally using any computer or web enabled device and then accessed remotely using Android and Apple mobile devices.
Camera support is fully automatic for popular Foscam brand cameras. These cameras are detected automatically on the local network and require only username and password settings. HomeSeer's HSTouch mobile app displays all cameras found and allows easy viewing for any camera selected. Other brand cameras may also be accessed after manual configuration.
Voice programming is the next big step in voice technology. Unlike other systems that offer only simple device control or event activation, HomeSeer voice programming allows users to create events by voice! Example: "On Saturday, at 4:30 pm, turn the outside lights on for 3 hours". Voice programming is fast, easy and allows users to create many types of events without the need to access the standard programming interface.
Camera and voice features are slated for release in January (Android) and Q1 (Apple).
