This HDMI over fiber transmitter/receiver set ensures first-rate distribution of uncompressed audio/video and control signals over long distances.

The SAPPHIRE PowerScale EF1K is a transmitter and receiver set that extends HDMI over fiber supporting Full HD 1080p60, HDCP, CEC, multi-channel audio, ARC, DDC/EDID and all 3D modes. The EF1K transports uncompressed HD audio, video and control signals over standard fiber-optic cable at up to 1 km (3,280 feet) with zero frame latency. The unaltered transmission of raw data ensures industry-leading performance and reliability, while bi-directional control via RS-232, IR and CEC ensure maximum versatility and convenience. This TX/RX extender kit also provides support for 8-channel digital audio.

Unaffected by electromagnetic interference (EMI), the SAPPHIRE EF1K is the ideal solution for point-to-point extension in mission-critical environments. Moreover, fiber affords installers significant distance between source and display, optimal for locations such as airports, shopping centers, and sports arenas.
