Wilson Certified Installer Program Surpasses 1,500

Custom installation continues to be the fastest growing segment of company's new business

ST. GEORGE, Utah--Wilson Electronics (www.wilsonelectronics.com), manufacturer of North America's top-selling line of cellular signal boosters, has certified more than 1,500 custom installers since initiating the Wilson Certified Installer (WCI) program just over one year ago, making it the company's fastest growing new business segment.

"We're especially pleased to see that after that initial push to certify when the program began, certification growth has continued and accelerated," said Blake Seese, manager of CI business development. "Last month at the CEDIA 2013 Expo we saw tremendous interest in the WCI program, with nearly 200 people attending our certification trainings."

CEDIA, the industry association for professionals who design and install home technology, recognized Wilson at CEDIA Expo 2013 with a Best New Product Award. The organization honored the Wilson CI 2070, a multi-carrier cellular booster that supports all North American cellular standards, and is available only through WCI-certified resellers.

As people become increasingly reliant on their wireless phones and other cellular devices, custom installers have quickly embraced signal boosters as a way to help their clients overcome poor reception at home and in the office. In the process, installers provide a new profit center for their businesses.

Wilson boosters deliver a strong, reliable cellular signal to improve voice and data communications inside today's energy efficient - but cellular challenged - buildings. The result is fewer dropped calls and lost connections, larger indoor coverage area, faster data transfers and longer battery life for cellular devices.

WCI training and certification gives installers a thorough understanding of Wilson's signal boosting equipment and technologies as well as a basic knowledge of radio frequency signals.
