GENELEC M SERIES MONITORS NOMINATED FOR TEC AWARD

In the category of Studio Monitor Technology

Genelec is proud to announce that its M Series Active Monitor Systems, M040 and M030, have been nominated for the 29th Annual Technical Excellence & Creativity (TEC) Award, in the category of Studio Monitor Technology. Award winners will be announced at a ceremony on January 24, 2014, at the Anaheim Hilton, California, as a special highlight of the NAMM Show.


Hundreds of entries for nomination were reviewed and voted upon by an extensive international panel of veteran sound and music industry professionals. Winners will be determined by subscribers to Mix, Pro Sound News and Pro Audio Review. Members of professional audio and sound production organisations will also be casting their votes through an online voting system which is to be validated by an independent company. Voting will take place in December.

Over the years, Genelec has received 16 nominations and has won 13 times, including for the tri-amplified 1038A, bi-amplified 8050A, 7000 Series Active Subwoofers, 8200/7200 DSP Monitoring Systems and 1036A Main Monitoring System.
