Cabletronix Announces the New CT-HDBASET-330 HDBaseT HDMI Extender Plus Over CAT5E Cable

Easy to install system, allows for transmission distances over twisted pair up to 330 feet

November 5th 2013 - Las Vegas, NV. - North American Cable Equipment, Inc. is proud to release the CableTronix brand CT-HDBASET-330 Five Play extender over a single Cat5E/6 cable. The unit is capable of transporting HDMI signals, Ethernet, IR remote control signals, RS-232 Control, and PoE power all over one CAT5E/6 cable. This easy to install system allows for transmission distances over twisted pair up to 330 feet.

The CT-HDBASET-330 uses HDBaseT technology to bridge the gap between HDMI transport over long distances and the limitations of HDMI cables. Featuring field upgradeable firmware, the CT-HDBASET-330 has a level of future proofing to protect the initial investment from short term obsolescence in the fast moving digital video market. This fully compliant HDCP unit features HDMI V1.4 with 3D at up to 1080P. The CT-HDBASET-330 incorporates advanced features such as automatic equalization, automatic gain control, and internal electrostatic discharge protection. Easy to read LED indicators confirm link status.

"The CableTronix CT-HDBASET-330 is our most advanced mux extender to date. With the ability to multiplex 5 discreet signals onto one cable, this unit solves even the most complex distribution problems. The ability to use an existing ethernet cable to add in 4 additional signal types on top of the ethernet signals will be a significant time saver in the field." said Aaron Starr, NACE CEO. "This plug and play system is perfect for long distance projector applications and offers dealers, installers, and system integrators considerable value and efficiency while satisfying customer requirements", continued Starr.

The Dealer price for the new HDVD-EXT-IR120 is $399.99.

North American Cable Equipment, Inc. was founded in 1992 with headquarters in West Chester Pennsylvania, and distribution centers in Missouri and Nevada. Yale Real Living™ Assure Lock™ with Bluetooth

The new Yale Real Living™ Assure Lock™ with Bluetooth replaces conventional keys with digital keys accessed through the Yale Digital Keys app for Android and iOS mobile devices, and through an app for the new Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch. The Yale app allows homeowners to unlock doors, send keys to others, control when others have access, get a message when someone enters, and revoke a digital key at any time. Unlocking the deadbolt couldn't be simpler, whether using the Samsung Gear S2 or a smartphone. With the new Samsung Gear S2, touch the watch app to activate the digital key, then touch the lock screen to unlock the deadbolt. With a smartphone, Yale's "Twist and Go" technology allows the user to hold the phone vertically when approaching the door, then twist it 90 degrees to unlock the deadbolt. Homeowners can also unlock the deadbolt using its capacitive touchscreen and a four- to eight-digit code.
