Somfy Systems Showcases Simplified Home Automation Integration at the 2013 CEDIA EXPO

Somfy motors will be present in the Honeywell, Dish Network, Cooper, Worthington Distribution, Z-Wave Alliance and Control4 booths at CEDIA.

DENVER, CO (September 26, 2013)- Somfy Systems, Inc., the world's largest manufacturer of motors and electronic controls for interior and exterior window coverings, will be present in several booths at the 2013 CEDIA Expo to showcase the compatibility of Somfy-powered motorized window coverings with a number of today's most popular home automation systems.


Somfy motors will be present in the Honeywell, Dish Network, Cooper, Worthington Distribution, Z-Wave Alliance and Control4 booths at CEDIA. Event-goers will see how easily Somfy motors integrate with different automation systems in addition to experiencing firsthand the many benefits of motorization once added to home automation systems.

Somfy-powered motorization will appear in the following booths:

*Honeywell - Booth #1510

Honeywell will use Somfy's Z-Wave® to Digital Motor Interface to integrate a motorized roller shade featuring the Sonesse® motor in their new voice-controlled Tuxedo automation system.

*Dish Network- Booth #2340

At the Dish Network booth, three Somfy-powered roller shades with Sonesse ultra-quiet RS485 digital motors that will be integrated into a Control4® system using Somfy's ZigBee® to Digital Motor Interface.

*Cooper- Booth #3325

Somfy will be showcasing two motorized roller shades with Sonesse ultra-quiet RS485 digital motors that will be integrated into a HomeSeer® automation system using Somfy's Z-Wave to Digital Motor Interface.

*Worthington Distribution - Booth #2230

At the Worthington Distribution booth, a Somfy-powered roller shade with a Sonesse ultra-quiet RS485 digital motor will be integrated into an HAI automation system using Somfy's ZigBee® to Digital Motor Interface.

*Z-Wave Alliance - Booth #512

Once again Somfy will have a dedicated exhibit in the Z-Wave Alliance where all of their Z-Wave interface devices will be displayed as well as TaHomA®, Somfy's home automation solution. Somfy motorization will also make up part of the Z-Wave Alliance's Interoperability Wall that demonstrates the added value Somfy-powered motorized window coverings bring to other products in the Z-Wave ecosystem.

*Control4® - Booth #608

Somfy is pleased to return to the Control4 booth with a dedicated exhibit that will showcase a variety of Somfy's Control4 certified motorization integration options including Somfy's ZigBee® interface devices as well as serial and IR.
