Brings Home Two EXC!TE Awards for Matrix Switcher and Wall Plate Extender, Named Finalist for Manufacturers' Excellence Award

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Oct. 2, 2013 - Atlona®, a leading digital AV distribution manufacturer, today announced that the company has won two EXC!TE Awards from Technology Integrator for its AT-PRO3HD66M matrix switcher and AT-HDWP-RSNET HDBaseT™ wall plate extender. The AT-PRO3HD66M was also named a finalist for a CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles® Award within the Manufacturers' Excellence category.

Winner of an EXC!TE Award, Atlona's AT-PRO3HD66M 6x6 HDMI® to HDBaseT matrix switcher solutions give fast, reliable extending and switching with HDBaseT and Power over Category cable (PoCc) to connect and route six inputs to eight outputs simultaneously at distances up to 230 feet (70 meters). The unit supports high-resolution HDMI video (up to 1080p or 1920x1200) in addition to multichannel audio and bi-directional RS-232 and IR control. The device was also named a finalist for a CEDIA Manufacturers' Excellence Award.

Atlona's new AT-HDWP-RSNET HDBaseT wall plate extender has also been recognized with an EXC!TE Award. The beautifully designed receiver wall plate uses HDBaseT and PoCc to extend HDMI up to 328 feet (100 meters) at resolutions up to Ultra HD (4K), with complete Ethernet, RS-232, and IR control. The AT-HDWP-RSNET offers the ability to switch between HDMI and VGA/audio and features advanced control, locking HDMI ports, USB firmware update ports, and CEC pass-through capabilities. The device mounts directly behind displays, provides full compatibility with both Atlona PRO3HD switchers and HDCAT distribution amplifiers, and has been rigorously tested for interoperability and compatibility with most third-party control systems.
