Denver, CO-September 2013-Clarus proudly introduces a USB cable for the Crimson Series, specifically designed for High Speed USB 2.0 computer audio applications. The new Crimson USB will be introduced during the 2013 CEDIA Expo in Denver, Colorado in booth 2321.

The engineering of the Crimson USB cable is the result of careful consideration of the complex issues associated with the design of digital cable, namely the preservation of signal integrity including minimization of jitter and the elimination of noise. To satisfy these design requirements, the Crimson USB cable is manufactured from heavy gauge PCOCC copper, Pure Copper by the Ohno Continuous Casting-a process that yields the purest copper available today. The USB features 20AWG power conductors to ensure there is adequate current flow to USB audio devices.

To reduce jitter and timing issues, the Crimson USB cable is manufactured using high-precision wire twisting machines that ensure perfectly match twisted pairs. Skin effect is minimized by plating the solid-core PCOCC signal conductors with 6.1% solid silver. For noise elimination, there are effectively six layers of shielding to prevent the power signal or outside EMI/RFI from corrupting the digital USB signal. This heavy-duty protection also prevents emission of the high frequency USB signal from the cable, which if leaked, would adversely effect nearby cabling and electronics.

Like all Crimson Series cables, the new USB is covered with an attractive black and red woven jacket, complemented by painstakingly meticulous hand-craftsmanship.

Available in October 2013 in one- and two-meter lengths.

MSRP: 1m - $250 and 2m - $350

Clarus digital and analog audio Interconnects, speaker, and power cabling offer a patented design incorporating three distinctly different conductor types, each individually insulated; solid heavy-gauge conductors, flat conductors and spiral-ribbon conductors (with a non-conductive core). By designing audio and digital cables with multiple strand sizes and shapes, Clarus Cables dramatically improves clarity, resulting in more open and transparent sound.

PureLink - HCE III TX/RX: 4K HDR over HDBaseT Extension System w/ Control and Bi-Directional PoE

The HCE III Tx/Rx HDBaseT™ extension system offers full HDMI 2.0 compliance supporting HDR (High Dynamic Range) and 4K@60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling. Featuring PureLink's proprietary Prcis codec, a light compression technology, the HCE III can transport Ultra HD/4K, multi-channel audio, and High Dynamic Range (10 bits support) content over a single CATx cable. The HCE III provides HDMI extension up to 130 feet (40 meters) at Ultra HD/4K and up to 230 ft. (70 meters) at 1080p over category cable with embedded multi-channel audio, CEC pass-through, bi-directional RS-232 and IR control, and PoE - all with zero loss and zero noise. The HCE III Tx/Rx also supports Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Master Audio plus LCPM (up to 192 kHz). Additionally, the low profile "slim box" enclosure design make the HCE III ideal for limited space installation environments, such as behind flat panel displays and video walls.
