BTX Enhances User-Friendly Pro Plate and Panel Designer Software

New Upgrade Includes Additional Connector Symbols From Neutrik(R), Switchcraft(R), and Other Major Connector Brands

HAWTHORNE, N.Y. -- Aug. 8, 2013 -- BTX Technologies, a value-added distributor and manufacturer of interface, integration, and system products, today announced that it has enhanced its free Pro Plate and Panel Designer software by adding many new connector symbols. Other enhancements include the availability of designation strips for flexible, in-field labeling.

"The newest upgrade to our Pro Plate and Panel Designer software has been introduced to give our customers even more flexibility and selection possibilities while maintaining the tool's signature simplicity," said Greg Schwartz, president of BTX Technologies. "Users can now select from more leading connector brands and use designation strips for increased labeling flexibility. The upgrades make the technology even easier, providing powerful new options that enable customers to design, configure, specify, and order custom wall plates and panels within a matter of minutes."

BTX's Pro Plate and Panel Designer software configuration and ordering application allows any user -- from administrators to engineers -- to begin designing and ordering products within a matter of minutes. Users simply drag a wall plate or rack panel from BTX's extensive product library and start designing and configuring. Connector options, which appear in an easy-to-navigate menu, include popular products from manufacturers such as Neutrik(R) and Switchcraft(R), in addition to BTX's own award-winning, patented connectors. Users drag and drop their choices to the desired spot on the plate or panel; optional engraving may also be added if desired. Once customers have completed configuring and designing, they can request quotes or order via the software. Most orders will be delivered within three to five days.

Available now, the latest version of the Pro Plate and Panel Designer software solution can be downloaded for free at www.btx.com.
