Miramar, Florida-August 2013- SIM2 is pleased to announce that, after successful stops in the UK, Miami, and most recently, Hong Kong, the 2013 SIM2 World Road Show is coming to Los Angeles August 21-22. This exclusive event-accessible by invitation only to SIM2's valued business partners-will be held at the prestigious Actors Center of the Screen Actors Guild Foundation, and will mark the world launch of the SUPERLUMIS, a new benchmark for SIM2.

"The 2013 Road Show to date has far exceeded our expectations, and given our strong market position on the West Coast, we have high expectations for these next few days as well!" said Maurizio Cini, CEO and President of SIM2. "This event marks a special moment for SIM2, with the world launch of the new SUPERLUMIS. What better place to announce the evolution of the award-winning LUMIS Series than in the heart of Hollywood?"

Created with the objective of outlining SIM2's strategy for the CI market and unveiling some of the main technological developments planned for the next few years, the 2013 Road Show offers its key partners unprecedented access to products, information, and new business opportunities.

These events provide an unprecedented opportunity to enjoy a hands-on demo experience with the latest SIM2 projectors-products that not only represent state-of-the-art technology but extraordinary means for a successful business. In addition to the SUPERLUMIS, the event will feature the 4K CINEMAQUATTRO, the superbright SIRIO, the award-winning M.150, and the limited edition, ultra-exclusive FUORISERIE projectors.

The U.S. portion of the tour concludes September 4-5, in the Penthouse of the Waldorf Astoria, in New York City.

SIM2's Grand Cinema™ SUPERLUMIS projector is the perfect solution for a true "Hollywood" picture-quality experience at home.

SUPERLUMIS projector achieves extraordinary picture quality through the partnership of the 0.95" 1080p DC4 DLP® chipset, the improved version of SIM2's ALPHAPATH™ light engine, and 3D Triple Flash technology (144 Hz) for a smoother, natural, and fatigue-free 3D viewing experience. No other projector technology can match the superb color depth, excellent contrast ratio (up to 30.000:1 with Dynamic Black™ and EC lens type in 2D mode).

With a choice of two lens types, High Brightness(HB) or Extended Contrast (EC), the SUPERLUMIS system can be fine-tuned to maximize image quality based on the room's lighting scenario.

The HB Lens yields up to 5,000 ANSI Lumens, and the EC Lens delivers up to 3,800 ANSI Lumens. For a large-screen system and/or one with ambient light, HB is the ideal choice. For smaller screens and light-controlled rooms, EC extends the available contrast and usable black level.

SUPERLUMIS comes with SIM2 Perfect Fit feature that enables the projector to display 2.35/2.40:1 video material by resizing the image to fill the screen without the need for an additional anamorphic lens.

Designed for use with large screen sizes (up to 5m - 16.5 ft wide).
