Caster Communications Grows Account Services Team

Alexandra Crabb Named VP, Kelly Ahern Promoted to Senior AE PR and Social Media, Timothy Viall and Heidi Ohrenberger Join as Account Coordinators.

Wakefield, RI - July 30, 2013 - Caster Communications, Inc., a specialty PR and social media firm, announces three new additions to their account services team as well as the promotion of resident rock star Kelly Ahern to senior account executive, PR & social media.

Alexandra Crabb is Caster's newly appointed Vice President of Account Services. Alex has worked with many emerging and public companies including Wireless Home Digital Interface (WHDI), PrimeSense, NAGRA, and Endomondo, and been actively involved in the global technology PR industry for a decade. As the former Director of Global Media Relations at ink Communications, Alex comes to Caster with a network of media and analyst contacts spanning the US and EMEA in consumer electronics, healthcare, broadcast technology, mobile, and hospitality. Alex will assume roles on existing clients including the AVnu Alliance, HealthSpot, BlueFlame and Wyrestorm, while lending new directives to Caster's strategic and business development efforts.

Timothy Viall and Heidi Ohrenberger simultaneously take the position of Caster account coordinators, joining Account Coordinator Peter Girard. Viall graduated from the University of Rhode Island in May, and has been actively involved in leadership and public relations roles throughout his college career. His experience includes being a part of the URI Student Alumni Association, working with the Harrington School of Communication and Media, as well as media relations internships with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Lifespan. Viall will be supporting on the Linear, HealthSpot, Innovative Technology and Wyrestorm accounts.

Ohrenberger is a recent graduate of Bridgewater State University's Corporate Communications program. Over the last four years, she gained experience through on-campus work including her position as Editor-in-Chief of BSU's student blog, an event planning internship with a Boston-area nonprofit, and digital content development internships at College Candy, True North Brand Group, and others. Ohrenberger will be joining the Control4 account along with HTSA, BlueFlame, BlackWire and Leaf.

Kelly Ahern was promoted to senior account executive PR and Social Media Services as a result of her endless hard work and dedication to Caster's clients. In addition to driving the Control4 social media program, Ahern will lead on the HTSA, Leaf and BlackWire accounts. Nick Brown, a Caster mainstay, leads the Linear, SVS, Munitio, Pro Audio and SurgeX accounts with the support of Account Coordinator Pete Girard.
